Overview
Developed for the most demanding freeride and gravity terrain, the Maxima delivers an extraordinary combination of braking power and fine-grained modulation. A 9mm pump piston drives four 16/17mm hollow stainless steel caliper pistons via an exceptionally high mechanical transmission ratio created by the lever geometry — minimizing finger force even on the steepest chutes. The CNC-milled 7075 aluminum caliper features preloaded steel yoke bolts for maximum rigidity, paired with Goodridge steel-braided or Kevlar hoses for an immensely stiff hydraulic system. Ball-bearing lever pivots reduce friction to near zero, ensuring a bone-dry, immediately predictable bite point every time.
