Overview
Vivid Select is the most straightforward way into the new Vivid D1 platform. The LinearXL air spring still chases the chassis’ coil-like character, but the damper moves to a simpler RT layout with a threshold lever for climbing efficiency and a large bottom-out bumper instead of the more advanced Adjustable Bottom Out system. For riders who want gravity-ready support with fewer external adjustments and a lower buy-in, it is the value entry point into the new Vivid family.
Features
NEW LinearXL air spring brings the new Vivid platform’s predictable, coil-like ride feel to the lowest trim.
NEW RT damper adds a threshold lever for climbing efficiency instead of external compression complexity.
NEW base valve reduces IFP forces by 40% for more suppleness and stronger traction retention.
NEW main piston compression tune adds useful mid-stroke support that pairs well with RockShox fork dampers.
A large bottom-out bumper manages deep-stroke hits with less cost and complexity than Adjustable Bottom Out.
The same size range still covers enduro, downhill, and e-MTB frame demands.
E-bike approval keeps the simplest Vivid trim relevant for heavier bikes and harder descending use.
